Our land in the Mountains

Starr B Valley
This is how
the upper valley looked in 1987 .
We found an ad in the local paper the summer of 1987. After looking at
several other properties, we agreed that this was a one of a kind opportunity that might
not come along again. It had the right mix of pasture and evergreen trees, lots of
possible building sites and a stream that would allow a trout pond. Dogs, horses and
kids would love it here. We camped, hiked, measured and photographed the land for
almost 8 years before selecting a building site. Another 4 years to complete the
house, but it was worth the wait.
